|A Christmas Angel
When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not
produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the
pre-Christmas pressure. Then Mrs. Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.
When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of
them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and
were out, Heaven knows where. Then when he began to load the sleigh, one
of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the
toys were scattered. So, frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup
of apple cider and a shot of rum.
When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drank
all the cider and hidden the liquor. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.
Just then the doorbell rang, and irritated Santa marched to the
door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big
Christmas tree. The angel said very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas Santa.
Isn't this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would
you like me to stick it?"
And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the

|New hole in my head!
Aaarrrggghhh! Stupid eyetooth that needed a root canal, broke off and is now infected.
A very loooong root involved, and one side of my face feels swollen due to congestion of that sinus. Dentist will see me this afternoon, only to prescribe antibiotics and come back at a later date. Either he will pull it or install some screw socket to hold a false tooth, because it is in a visible space when I smile.
Maybe this is why I have had breathing difficulties the last few years, dealing with the low grade infections due to this tooth.
I just needed to vent! Current Mood: crappy

|When it rains....
Still no definitve date on my hip surgery, although the dogbite on my leg is at least scabbing over. But the doc says it must be totally healed, new skin covering completely. Probably another three weeks :(
Losing my right hand man at work, he is off to a better paying job.
And we have done a 2 million dollar production month in August, the largest so far!
Had one guy interview for the electronic tech. position to work with me, but I think he is asking too much $$. He is moving back from San Diego, and I am sure he made more out there.
The clincher is my parttime, non paying roomate ( a first cousin once removed) Has been arrested on a rape charge! Total Dumbass, I kept telling him to get his GED and driver's license while he had his living arrangements easy!
Well, like AA says, take it one day at a time!

|Wild weekend in Indy
Wow, beautiful weather this weekend.
Unfortunatly, we had a toddler killed at a Walmart by a mirror that fell off the dressing room wall he and his mother were in.
And, we apparantly have a sniper type running loose on our interstate, which is less than two miles from my house.
The towns where cars were shot at are an hour south, and and hour north of me!
Why do people have to take out there frustrations on other, innocent lives?
I think it is better to drink heavily and have wanton sex!!

All right, Colts got a 14-2 record, temps hit 65* here, and I actually have money left over from the holidays!
Now, should I pursue the job in Indianapolis (which involves a commute, hard for one w/o license), but more along my schooling and intelligence level?
WR2 (squared) or Waste reduction through waste reduction is the name of the place.
At, least this year I have options available!

I wonder if we actually get a Xmas bonus, considering this year has been a great one sales wise.
I wonder what I will do with a whole week off from xmas to new years, it is paid for by work, however.
Son will be in town after the 18th, haven't made any plans as of yet.
Did go see the symphony orchestra this fall, saw "Bugs bunny on Broadway'
VERY good presentation, I recommend all go see it!

I am over this upper respiratory infection!! After two days wallowing in selfpity in bed, the antibiotics are working.
And, I got some xmas shopping done today.
Oh, yea, went and saw the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in Nov. perform Bugs Bunny on Broadway! It was really different, worth seeing if it comes your way. Very funny, and professionally performed, I had never seen a symphony orchestra play before.
